As Sarika and Aaron’s multi-day, multi-cultural wedding approaches, it starts with the traditional Mehndi celebration. It is filled with music, food, family, friends, dance, color and of course, traditional henna designs for the bride. The artistry is amazing, second only to Sarika’s ability to hold still for hours on end — thanks in part to her friends and family who helped feed her snacks and scratch her back. Everyone crammed into the room to participate in the lively event – and this is only a hint of the grand celebration to take place the next day.

Salim Khan - Nice work. I like the detail in each photograph
Faith - Amazing! Beautiful work! I love the shot of the glitter falling from the bride’s hand and the little girl with her hands on her knees gazing up.
Amy - these photos are awesome!!!!
Mike - Nice work! You have some nice images of the celebration, definitely gives you a feeling that you are there.
Jennifer - I have to say I am very impressed by your pictures. I am pretty sure we were in the same photography class. Why don’t I take pictures like that? It is a mystery.
