When I first met Danielle and Matt, they were dressed up as Thing 1 and Thing 2, complete with spiky blue hair. I knew right away they were going to be a fun couple. So when we were brainstorming location ideas for their engagement shoot, pitching the idea of riding the historical Roaring Camp Railroad steam train thru the redwood forests of the Santa Cruz mountains was met with the bubbly enthusiasm I thought it would. Off to Felton we went, all aboard we were summoned, and up the mountain we rushed at well over 1 mile per hour. Once at the top, we had a few minutes to grab some shots in and around the train (thanks to a way-cool engineer), and rounded out the day with a few more shots back down at base camp. For a few hours, we all got to be 10 years old again, thanks to how fun a couple Danielle and Matt are! Next up – their wedding later this summer.
