Today was another 5am day as we trekked up the mountain to witness the famous sunrise over the Yellow Mountains. It was a stunning site – well worth the early call. Today is our last day in the Yellow Mountains, so we had one more hike to take in one last view of the region before taking the cable lift back down to the valley. Off we went to Xi Hu, which is more commonly known as West Lake – a famous lake in the historic center of Hangzhou. We hopped on a boat and saw the many famous ancient buildings and boats that surround the lake. After that, it was one quick stop at another silk factory before we headed out to the airport to fly to SuSu’s hometown of Quanzhou, where the wedding day was quickly approaching!
