It was a wonderfully creative plan. Step one: find an vintage photo booth. Step two: create a photo strip with the words “Will You Marry Me” on it. Step three: the next day, hide the photo strip in one pocket, a ring in the other, and bring along with the girl of your dreams in hand. Step four: “happen upon” the photo booth with the line “hey, this looks fun, let’s take our photos!” ready. And finally: steathfully place yesterdays photo strip into the machine. This amazing plan went slightly awry when Vanessa exited the photobooth, picked up the “proposal” photo strip and said, “Hey – this isn’t us! Where are our photos?” Turning around, she saw Brad on one knee, asking her to take a closer look at the photo.
From that moment on, the school teacher was engaged to the firefighter. So for their engagement shoot, a trip back to the vintage Musée Mécanique was perfectly paired with a visit to the SF Fire Department Museum (which to match, we’ll call “Musée de Caserne de Pompiers de San Francisco”). Where else could a firefighter and his lady enjoy sitting in a fire truck from 1923 and look so good doing it! Congratulations Vanessa and Brad! We’ll be rockin’ your wedding with you soon!
